DAF Trucks N.V. in Eindhoven is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to shape the future of heavy‑duty transport technology.

You will ensure high‑tech embedded systems operate reliably and safely before trucks hit the road, turning complex requirements into working prototypes and production-ready applications. You will work with architects and engineering teams to evaluate feasibility and de‑risk architectural choices, delivering solutions in a fast-paced automotive environment with strong

Formación

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Embedded Systems, Software Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
At least 3 years of embedded software development experience for complex systems (multicore and distributed architectures).
Hands-on programming experience in C, C++, and Python; fluent in English.

Responsabilidades

Build proof-of-concept implementations, prototypes, and production-ready software solutions.
Research emerging frameworks, software technologies, and development methods.
Perform technical feasibility studies, benchmark evaluations, and trade-off analyses.
Support supplier assessments and contribute to architecture roadmaps.
Transfer knowledge to core engineering teams.
