Job summary

Ranpak is seeking a Quality Engineer Automation to advance the quality of automation across products and services. You will develop quality processes, lead CAPA, NCR, and FAT activities, and partner with customers and internal teams.

You bring a Bachelor's in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and hands-on quality experience in production. Dutch and English fluency, ISO9001 knowledge, and MS Office skills are preferred. This role offers hybrid work and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and production-floor quality experience.
• Fluency in Dutch and English for communication with production teams and documentation.
• Knowledge of ISO9001 quality management system is preferred.
• Software knowledge is an asset.
• Problem-solving mindset and hands-on attitude, with professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and continuously improve all quality-related processes within the Automation department.
• Develop and maintain the Quality Control system, including procedures, work instructions, and related training.
• Manage the non-conforming report (NCR) and CAPA systems for Automation.
• Handle customer complaints and support NPI projects.
• Define quality requirements for automation machines and lead FAT with customers.
• Drive a culture of quality awareness and continuous improvement.
• Support the Quality Management System according to ISO9001 standards.
• Ensure open and effective communication with all Ranpak entities.
