Job summary

FYGI in Utrecht seeks a hands-on Maintenance Technician to keep automated logistics systems running. You will join an international maintenance team at one fixed, highly automated site, performing preventive and corrective maintenance, and resolving mechanical and electrical faults.

The role requires practical experience with motors, drives, sensors and conveyors; English is the working language, Dutch not required.

Qualifications

• MBO 2/3 level in Mechatronics or related technical field.
• Practical experience with maintenance, repair or assembly of machines or equipment.
• Hands-on with motors, drives, sensors and mechanical/electrical components.
• Good spoken and written English; Dutch not required.
• Team player, safety-conscious and reliable; willing to work a 5-shift schedule.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of automated equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults across conveyors and systems.
• Replace bearings or shafts, check motors, sensors and drives.
• Document maintenance work and hand over shifts clearly.
• Learn from experienced engineers and grow towards Maintenance Engineer.
