Are you working as a Maintenance Technician, Mechatronics Technician, Automotive Technician, Service Technician, Maintenance Mechanic or in another hands‑on technical role? Your current job title is less important than your ability to understand, maintain and repair technical equipment.
As a Maintenance Technician, you will join an international maintenance team at one fixed, highly automated logistics site in Utrecht. Together with your colleagues, you help keep approximately 14 kilometres of automated systems running 24/7.
Your work is practical and varied. You perform preventive and corrective maintenance and help resolve mechanical and electrical faults. One moment you may be replacing a bearing or repairing a shaft, the next you are checking a motor, sensor, drive or conveyor system.
The site uses extensive automation, barcode technology, sensors, electric motors and conveyor systems. You do not need to be a PLC specialist. What matters is that you can work with your hands, understand mechanical systems and have a good basic knowledge of electrics.
You work in a shift team of around 6–7 maintenance professionals. Jobs are normally carried out together with one or two colleagues, so you learn from experienced Engineers and Technicians while taking on more responsibility as your knowledge grows.
The working language is English; Dutch is not required.
You work in a 5‑shift schedule:
You start directly in your own shift team with structured on‑the‑job training and access to an extensive internal learning platform.
If you enjoy troubleshooting, repairing equipment and developing yourself into an even stronger all‑round maintenance professional, this role offers plenty of room to grow.
