Job summary
Picnic in Utrecht is seeking an experienced Service & Maintenance Engineer to maintain and optimize its highly automated logistics operation. You will troubleshoot electrical, mechanical and software faults, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, and collaborate with operators, engineers and maintenance colleagues to maximise system availability.
The role requires an MBO 3/4 in Electrical, Mechatronics or Mechanical Engineering, Siemens S7 / TIA Portal knowledge, and willingness to work
Qualifications
- MBO Level 3/4 in Electrical, Mechatronics or Mechanical engineering.
- Experience in industrial maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of electrical, mechanical and control systems.
- Siemens S7 / TIA Portal experience preferred.
- Familiar with Profinet and CAN-bus.
- English language proficiency.
- Willingness to work in a 5-shift rotation.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical, mechanical and software-related faults.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Analyze recurring failures and identify root causes.
- Maintain conveyors, shuttles, sensors, scanners and control systems.
- Work closely with operators, engineers and maintenance colleagues.
- Ensure maximum availability and performance of the logistics system.
