Job summary

Super Micro Computer B.V. is looking for an Associate Repair Engineer to work in the RMA/Repair Department located in the Netherlands, who has good repair experience and soldering skill to perform RMA Repair job.

The role emphasizes leading or mentoring junior technicians, training, and developing testing SOPs, with a focus on timely, documented repairs and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Diploma or above in Electronics, Electrical Engineering or related fields.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in computer or server hardware repair and troubleshooting
• Experience in leading or mentoring junior technicians is a plus.
• Willing to learn new product knowledge and conduct testing.
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to follow technical procedures.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead team members to complete server repairs according to the schedule and assist them in resolving technical issues.
• Train new team members on server repair procedures and provide support to the testing team when needed.
• Develop clear and easy-to-follow testing SOPs for technicians. After resolving a problem, complete the required documentation and share it with the team.
• Study the testing SOP whenever a new server model is announced, and share repair experiences with team members to continuously improve team capability.
• Ensure repaired products are returned to customers on schedule, and regularly monitor team members’ repair progress and quality.
