Job summary

Super Micro Computer B.V. is seeking a Repair Technician for its RMA Repair Department in The Netherlands. The role requires good repair experience and soldering skills to perform RMA repairs.

The candidate will troubleshoot and repair RMA products, perform tests and calibrations, and work according to drawings and procedures to ensure quality and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a test technician.
  • Technical school certificate or college degree is preferred.
  • Good soldering and de-soldering skills.
  • Good operation software skills in Windows or Linux.

  • Troubleshoot and repair Supermicro RMA products to meet standards and customer satisfaction.
  • Test and calibration of Supermicro/OEM RMA products and final assemblies.
  • Follow drawings and instructions to complete work assignments.
  • Determine job status and material status of jobs.
  • Reference procedures, drawings, and specifications for proposed changes.
  • Onsite customer support service as needed.

Job Summary

Super Micro Computer B.V. is looking for a Repair Technician to work in the RMA Repair Department located in The Netherlands, who has good repair experience and soldering skill to perform RMA Repair job.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and repair Supermicro RMA products as necessary to meet commercial standards and customer’s satisfaction.
  • Test and calibration of Supermicro/OEM RMA products and final assemblies.
  • Follow drawings, written and verbal instructions to complete work assignments.
  • Determine job status (check shortage and close of work orders, etc.).
  • Determine material status of jobs.
  • Reference all pertinent procedures, drawings, and specifications for the purposed changes.
  • Physically locate job materials within the assembly/test calibration area.
  • ECO upgrades.
  • Report any defective parts to RMA Repair Database.
  • Onsite customer support service as needed.
Qualifications
  • Technical school certificate or college degree is preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a test technician preferred.
  • Good operation software skills in Windows or Linux.
  • Must be a team player.
  • Capable of self-motivated hard work with a positive attitude.
  • Demonstrated skills and experience in electronic circuit analysis and troubleshooting.
  • Good soldering and de-soldering skills.
