GLS in 's-Hertogenbosch zoekt een Assistant Team Leader voor avond- en nachtdiensten. Tijdens een 9 tot 12 maanden durende traineeship leer je de logistieke processen en krijg je geleidelijk meer verantwoordelijkheid onder begeleiding.

Je werkt actief op de vloer en ondersteunt de Team Leader bij het aansturen van het team. Het programma biedt coaching, doorgroeimogelijkheden naar Team Leader en een salaris van €15,63–€17,39 bruto per uur plus reiskosten en 8% vakantietoeslag.

Qualifications

• 18 jaar of ouder
• Spreek Nederlands en/of Engels
• Bereid avond- en nachtdiensten te werken
• Gedreven om jezelf te ontwikkelen
• Graag samenwerken met collega's
• Goede communicatieve vaardigheden en bereid verantwoordelijkheid te nemen
• Ervaring in logistiek is een plus, maar leergierigheid staat centraal

Responsibilities

• Ondersteun de Team Leader en help bij dagelijkse taken
• Werk actief op de vloer met sorteren, stapelen en scannen van pakketten
• Zie verbeterpunten en denk mee over efficiëntie en processen
• Zorg voor een goede overdracht tussen shifts en houd collega's geïnformeerd
• Neem stap voor stap meer verantwoordelijkheid in leiderschap en coördinatie

Vacaturebeschrijving Wat je gaat doen As an Assistant Team Leader, you will work during evening and night shifts. This allows you to learn the logistics processes and daily work on the floor. You will actively work in the warehouse and support the Team Leader with managing the team.

During the 9 to 12-month traineeship, you will gradually get more responsibility. With coaching on the job, you will develop your leadership skills and work step by step towards becoming a Team Leader.

What will you do?

• Support the Team Leader: help manage the team and make sure the daily work runs smoothly.
• Work on the floor: actively help with sorting, stacking and scanning packages.
• Improve processes: notice problems and think about ways to improve the way we work.
• Communicate: make sure there is a good handover between shifts and keep colleagues informed.
• Take more responsibility: gradually take on more leadership and coordinating tasks as you develop.

You will work mainly during evening and night shifts. This gives you a good understanding of the operation and what is happening on the work floor.

• At least 18 years old;
• You speak Dutch and/or English;
• You are willing to work evening and night shifts;
• You motivated to develop yourself;
• You enjoy working with and supporting colleagues;
• You communicate well and are not afraid to take responsibility;
• Logistics experience is a plus, but motivation and the willingness to learn is most important.
