Job summary

GLS Den Bosch zoekt medewerkers logistiek voor een actieve en fysieke functie. Je sorteert pakketten, helpt bij het laden en lossen van vrachtwagens en beweegt pakketten tot 23 kg terwijl je veiligheid en netheid behoudt. Je werkt doordeweeks van maandag tot en met vrijdag en draait avonden en nachten.

Je krijgt een marktconform uursalaris en een tijdelijk contract met uitzicht op vast dienstverband. Start People ondersteunt je bij inwerk- en groeimogelijkheden binnen GLS Den Bosch.

Qualifications

• Minimale leeftijd van 18 jaar.
• Beheersing van het Nederlands en/of Engels.
• Fysiek in staat om pakjes tot 23 kg te tillen.
• Fysieke en actieve werkzaamheden.
• Bereid avond- en nachtwerk te doen.
• Betrouwbaar en komt afspraken na.

Responsibilities

• Pakketten sorteren en op de juiste locatie plaatsen.
• Laden en lossen van vrachtwagens ondersteunen.
• Pakketten van maximaal 23 kg tillen en verplaatsen.
• Veilig werken: het werkplek schoon, veilig en georganiseerd houden.
• Als team samenwerken om het proces gestroomlijnd te houden.

Job description

Wat je gaat doen

As a logistics employee at GLS Den Bosch, you and your colleagues make sure that packages are processed on time and reach the right destination. You will sort packages and help with loading and unloading trucks.

The job is active and physical. You will be moving around, walking, lifting and sorting packages throughout your shift. It is ideal if you prefer staying active rather than sitting still all day. You will learn the job on the work floor, so no previous logistics experience is required.

What will you do?

• Sorting packages: processing packages and placing them in the correct location.
• Loading and unloading: helping to load and unload trucks.
• Moving packages: lifting and moving packages weighing up to 23 kg.
• Working safely: keeping the workplace clean, safe and organised.
• Working as a team: working together with colleagues to keep the process running smoothly.

You will work from Monday to Friday. One week you will work from 16:00 to 01:00 and the following week from 00:30 to 09:30.

• An hourly salary between €14.99 and €16.68 gross.
• A temporary contract with the prospect of permanent employment.
• Work 32 to 40 hours per week, based on your preference.
• Travel allowance of at least €0.10 per kilometer.
• 8% holiday allowance and equal pay according to Start People principles.
