Pieter Smit Group, a long-standing entertainment logistics specialist, seeks an Assistant Planner to support national and international project planning. You will learn the planning trade, work with Planners and the Crew Operations Manager, and help ensure accurate schedules and information across Europe.
You’ll develop routes, maintain project data, and assist in crew hotel and equipment logistics while coordinating with drivers and customers.

As an Assistant Planner, you will support the planning and coordination of national and international projects. Working closely with our Planners and Crew Operations Manager, you will help ensure that schedules, operational information, and project preparations are accurate and up to date. At the same time, you will learn the planning profession and have the opportunity to develop into an independent Planner.
In this role, you will work closely with the Planners and the Crew Operations Manager. You will play an important part in supporting efficient planning processes and contributing to the successful execution of our projects.

Support the Planner in creating, maintaining, and monitoring national and international project schedules.
Process and keep planning and operational information up to date.
Collect, verify, and process information required for the preparation and execution of projects.
Assist in developing routes and project plans, ensuring relevant information is available on time.
Identify changes, bottlenecks, and special circumstances within project planning and proactively discuss them with the Planner.
Maintain daily contact with drivers and, when necessary, with customers and other stakeholders.
Support the preparation and execution of projects for national and international tours.
Develop knowledge of transport and export regulations. Experience in this area is an advantage.
Carry out various operational and administrative tasks, contributing to accurate and complete project administration.
Take responsibility for the daily organization of the internal crew hotel, including room allocation and ensuring crew members have access to the required rooms, bedding, and towels.
Manage and distribute company clothing, ensuring crew members have the correct apparel and necessary materials.
Provide support with other activities across the organization when required.
Planning schedules and operational information are accurate and up to date.
The Planner receives the right information on time to prepare projects effectively.
Project information is processed carefully and shared with the appropriate stakeholders.
Administrative and operational tasks are completed accurately and on time.
Daily crew-related operational activities are well-organized and efficiently executed.
You work accurately and have strong attention to detail.
You have preferably completed an MBO-level education in Logistics or a related field.
You are comfortable managing changing priorities and ad hoc situations.
You can work independently while also thriving in a team environment.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Strong command of both Dutch and English.
Experience in planning or a similar operational role is an advantage.
Salary: €3,000 - €3,300 gross per month (based on a 40-hour work week)
