Due to the departure of our current planner, this position has become available. You will be the only planner within our team, but you certainly will not be on your own. You will receive plenty of support from your colleagues, because teamwork and communication are at the heart of what we do. We help each other, step in where needed and always support one another as a team.You will also be responsible for the on-call phone. Fortunately, you will not handling this alone: colleagues also take turns and step in when necessary. This ensures that clients and employees can also reach someone outside office hours in case of urgent questions.
- You make sure our clients get the right people to successfully deliver their projects
- You schedule colleagues and ensure they are well prepared before they go on assignment
- You maintain client contact and visit clients when needed
- You prepare quotations based on incoming requests
- You assess leave requests together with HR and process them in the planning
- You arrange hotels or other facilities for employees where necessary
- You monitor progress and adjust schedules where needed
- You actively contribute ideas to improve processes and working methods
- Occasionally, you visit project locations to see how colleagues work in practice.
- A typical working day consists of reviewing new requests, answering questions from colleagues, processing projects in the planning system, maintaining client contact and, of course, a lot of coordination and communication with the team. It is dynamic, varied and sometimes hectic, but that is exactly what makes it enjoyable.
What we’re looking for
- Experience in staff planning and/or in the events industry is a plus;
- You can switch quickly between tasks without losing overview;
- You are flexible and do not get discouraged when a project comes in at the last minute
- You communicate clearly and pleasantly, both verbally and in writing
- You are curious, positive and think in terms of possibilities rather than limitations
- You live in or near the Wilp area.
