Restaurant FRED in Rotterdam is seeking an attentive assistant maître d’ to join our two-Michelin-star dining team. You’ll support the maître d’ during service, welcome guests warmly, and supervise the service team to maintain peak performance.

Ideal candidates bring fine dining or haute cuisine experience, be hospitable and presentable, communicate in Dutch and English, and share a passion for wine, cheese, and digestifs.

Qualifications

• Experience in fine dining or haute cuisine.
• Hospitable, presentable, and able to stay on top of things during a busy shift.
• Communicate easily in Dutch and English.
• Passion for wine, cheese, and digestifs, and eagerness to deepen expertise.

Responsabilités

• Assist the maître d’ during lunch and dinner service.
• Greet guests and provide a warm, professional welcome.
• Supervise the service team during service.
• Contribute ideas about wine, cheese, and digestifs and advise guests as needed.
• Help ensure the quality and level of service that Restaurant FRED is known for.
