Anantara Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky Amsterdam is seeking an Assistant Housekeeping Executive to lead a team of approximately 100 professionals, ensuring every room and public area meets luxury standards.

You will support the Housekeeping Manager, drive operational excellence, manage stock and reporting tools, and maintain guest satisfaction with a proactive, guest-focused approach.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience as Assistant Housekeeping Executive or Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Background in a 4- or 5-star hotel environment.
• Guest-focused, professional attitude with positive energy.
• Strong leadership to motivate diverse teams.
• Detail-oriented and calm under pressure.
• Excellent English; other languages are a plus.
• Knowledge of LQA standards and luxury service commitment.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and motivate the housekeeping team.
• Manage daily operations and administrative tasks.
• Ensure efficient stock and inventory control.
• Monitor quality standards and hygiene compliance.

Your role in the journey

As Assistant Housekeeping Executive, you’ll be at the heart of our Housekeeping operations. You’ll support the Housekeeping Manager and fellow assistants in leading a team of approximately 100 professionals, ensuring every room and public space meets Anantara’s impeccable standards.

Your Responsibilities Include

• Leading, coaching, and motivating the housekeeping team.
• Managing daily operations and administrative tasks.
• Ensuring efficient stock and inventory control.
• Monitoring quality standards and hygiene compliance.
• Collaborating with external suppliers and service providers.
• Handling guest complaints with professionalism and empathy.
• Driving continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
• Understanding and working towards departmental goals (finance, quality, guest satisfaction).
• Ensuring compliance with LQA (Leading Quality Assurance) standards.
• Being physically active and present on the floor — not just behind a desk.
• Using tools like Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint for reporting and communication.

What You’ll Bring
