Job summary
Ultimo Group is seeking an Assistant Controller to join its international finance team. You will contribute to financial administration, closings, reporting, treasury and audits, while developing expertise across accounting functions.
You will work with experienced colleagues who will coach you as your responsibilities grow, with AI-enabled processes shaping daily work today and tomorrow.
Qualifications
- Holds an MBO+/HBO-level degree in Finance, Business Economics or Accountancy.
- Gained practical Finance/Accountancy experience via internship, graduation project or first job.
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to accuracy and structure.
- Interested in AI and automation and willing to learn new systems.
Responsibilities
- Support activities within Accounting & Control, including closing processes, reporting and treasury.
- Assist with annual, quarterly closings and reconciliations.
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules.
- Identify discrepancies and follow up on issues in financial administration.
- Perform intercompany reconciliations across international entities.
- Help automate financial processes and strengthen internal controls.
- Support Audit & Compliance activities and CBS filings.
