Job summary

Signify in Eindhoven, Netherlands is seeking an Assistant Account Manager to support strategic key accounts and independently manage smaller client portfolios. You will drive commercial performance, build strong relationships with stakeholders, and collaborate with Marketing on in-store promotions.

You will develop strategic selling and leadership capabilities with the aim of advancing to a Key Account Manager role within roughly two years.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder-management skills.
• Fluent in Dutch and English; French is a plus.
• Ambitious early-career professional looking to develop a commercial career.

Responsibilities

• Support development and execution of strategic key customer account plans and growth initiatives.
• Independently manage and develop a portfolio of smaller, non-key customer accounts, with responsibility for commercial performance and growth.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with customer stakeholders.
• Regularly visit stores to assess in-store execution and drive improvements in collaboration with Marketing.
• Support preparation and coordination of promotions for key accounts, ensuring effective planning and follow-up.
• Prepare customer analyses, business reviews, and commercial recommendations to support decision-making for key accounts.
• Participate in customer negotiations, projects, and business reviews, taking on increasing responsibility over time.
• Demonstrate continuous development of strategic selling, account management, and leadership in preparation for a KAM role.
