Electric safari jeeps crossing through safari parks. Sloops and lounge boats gliding holidaymakers across the water. As Assembly & Service Engineer at Longfish Leisure, you build and maintain the vehicles and boats that make days out just that little bit more exciting for thousands of families. Are you technically skilled, solution-oriented and not afraid to roll up your sleeves at the client’s site? Read on.
Longfish Leisure BV has been designing, building and renting out electric recreation products since 2010 — to holiday parks, amusement and theme parks and safari parks in more than 25 countries. From officially licensed Land Rover and Jeep children’s vehicles to luxury electric sloops and lounge boats: everything is built to withstand years of intensive use with ease. Longfish is an official partner of Jaguar Land Rover and Jeep, and a member of industry organisations including IAAPA, EAZA and NFAN.
You’ll work from our production site in Wintelre, where assembly keeps you busy mainly outside the high season (November to March). During the season, you head out to clients at home and abroad to carry out service and maintenance on our full product range, from electric children’s vehicles to electrically powered boats. As our clients are located throughout the Netherlands and abroad, a service visit abroad may occasionally require one or more overnight stays.
A varied job in which no two days are the same: one week you’re working in the workshop in Wintelre, the next you’re at a safari park or holiday park at home or abroad. We offer a competitive salary in line with your education and experience, plus secondary benefits such as travel expenses, training opportunities and a pension scheme.
We cannot accept applications from people who do not have the right to work in the Netherlands. This means we are unable to offer visas or sponsorship to anyone requiring permission to live and work in the Netherlands.
