Job summary

Catawiki is seeking a Senior Category Lead for Art - Primary Market to bring structure to the team’s day-to-day work and translate the category vision into actionable initiatives that enhance the buyer and seller experience. You will create productive rhythms, foster ownership, and coordinate with Sales, Marketing, and HR to drive cross-functional improvements.

• Organised project delivery: coordinate cross-functional work, manage dependencies and timelines.
• Analytical judgment: use data and market insights to identify issues, priorities and results.
• Clear, constructive communication: build trust, share context, give feedback, adapt to stakeholders.
• Interest in contemporary art: genuine interest in contemporary art and the primary art market.

Responsibilities

• Create a clear operating rhythm by turning priorities into plans with owners and milestones.
• Improve day-to-day operations by clarifying workflows and resolving blockers.
• Build team ownership and accountability through coaching and goal setting.
• Strengthen engagement and development with regular 1:1s and feedback.
• Use performance insights to guide action and coordinate cross-functional initiatives.
• Translate strategy into delivery by coordinating initiatives from planning to review.
• Identify category growth opportunities by leveraging market and performance insights.
