Job summary

NH Hotels & Resorts in Eindhoven zoekt een student voor de Technische Dienst. Je bent verantwoordelijk voor dagelijkse onderhoudswerkzaamheden en het waarborgen van veilige, functionerende faciliteiten in ons hotel.

Je werkt aan routinematige onderhoudstaken, inspecteert boiler, lost storingen op aan deuren en werkt samen met collega’s uit andere afdelingen. Een goede beheersing van Engels is gewenst; Nederlands is een pluspunt. HBO-opleiding in onderhoud of gelijkwaardig wordt gewaardeerd.

Qualifications

• Minimaal HBO-opleiding in onderhoud of gelijkwaardig
• Goede beheersing van het Engels is gewenst
• Student met niveau 2 of 3 in onderhoud of vergelijkbaar

Responsibilities

• Uitvoeren van routinematige onderhoudswerkzaamheden in de Technische Dienst.
• Inspecteren en onderhouden van het warmwaterboilersysteem voor gastencomfort.
• Storingen oplossen, zoals de draaiende deur bij de hoofdingang.
• Samenwerken met collega's en andere afdelingen tijdens de dienst.
• Assisteren bij schilderwerk en netheid van gastenruimtes.

What are you going to do?

07:45 After a cup of coffee or tea you report to the workshop of the Technical Department.
08:00 You arrange all the tools you need and start with your first task of the day.
10:00 You and your colleagues enjoy a cup of coffee or tea in the canteen.
11:00 You solve a malfunction with the revolving door at the main entrance.
12:00 Enjoy your lunch with colleagues from other departments.
12:30 You check and perform periodic maintenance on the hot water boiler, for the guests to enjoy a nice warm shower.
14:00 Time for a short break before your last task of the day, painting a wall in a guest room.
15:30 You make sure everything is ready and back in place for the next day.
16:00 Time to go home!

What are we looking for?

• Helping guests puts a big smile on your face. The 'always a pleasure' mentality is second nature for you, and you are happy go the extra mile for our guests;
• You are a hard worker with an eye for detail and see a challenge in every situation;
• You have a good command of the English language; Dutch is an advantage;
• You are a student of a level 2 or 3 Intermediate Vocational Education Maintenance or a similar study.
