NH Hotels & Resorts zoekt een enthousiaste Keuken Apprentice in Eindhoven. Je bereidt ontbijtproducten conform de hotelstandaarden en werkt nauw samen met F&B voor een vlekkeloze service. Er is ruimte voor groei binnen de groep en trainingen via Minor Hotels University.

Je hebt een passie voor eten, beheerst Engels en Nederlands, en volgt een HBO- of MBO-opleiding culinair. De functie is voltijds en in-house op locatie in Eindhoven.

Qualifications

• Engels- en Dutch-taalvaardigheid vereist.
• Koken en keukenprogramma's benaderen op mbo/hbo-niveau.
• Student in niveau 2 of 3 opleiding culinaire richting of gelijkwaardig.

Responsibilities

• Ontbijtbereiding volgens hotelstandaarden.
• Buffet opzetten en mise en place beheren.
• Keuken staat garant voor orde, hygiëne en kwaliteit gedurende de dienst.

As a Kitchen Apprentice, you are responsible for preparing dishes according to hotel standards. This involves à la minute cooking techniques according to the established instructions concerning ingredients, recipes, working methods and presentation.

What are you going to do?

• 04:30 Your alarm goes off and you get ready for your shift.
• 05:45 You are in the kitchen and grab yourself a cup of coffee to start with.
• 06:00 Together with your colleague from the F&B service you set up the buffet in the restaurant.
• 07:00 The first guests arrive; you prepare a delicious egg dish for one of your favorite regular guests.
• 10:45 After the final guests leave the breakfast restaurant, you clean up where possible and prepare the mise en place for the following day.
• 11:15 If necessary, you prepare a (sandwich) lunch for the meeting and event guests.
• 11:30 Enjoy your lunch with colleagues from other departments.
• 12:00 The lunch in the restaurant has started and you ensure they have a perfect experience from start to finish.
• 13:30 The last guests leave, and you and the team make sure the mise en place is in order for the next shift and your workplace is neat and clean.
• 14:00 Time to go home!

What are we looking for?

• Helping guests puts a big smile on your face. The 'always a pleasure' mentality is second nature for you, and you are happy go the extra mile for our guests;
• You are a hard worker with an eye for detail and see a challenge in every situation;
• You have a passion for food and you have a good command of the English and Dutch language.
• You are a student of a level 2 or 3 Intermediate Vocational Education culinary school or a similar study.
