Innovo Global Talent is seeking an Application Engineer in the Netherlands to develop and support control system applications for motion control and drive systems.

You will work with clients to design, implement and optimise automation solutions using VSDs, inverters, multi-axis motion systems, and electronic gearing, while providing troubleshooting and system integration expertise.

Formación

• Experience in applications engineering within industrial automation, particularly with motion control and drives.
• Strong knowledge of VSDs/inverters and motor control systems.
• Familiarity with multi-axis motion and electronic camming.
• Good communication in English; Dutch language skills are advantageous.

Our client, a leading player in the industrial automation sector, is seeking a Application Engineer to join their dynamic team in the Netherlands. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and supporting control system applications, specialising in motion control, servo drives, and drive systems. Your role will involve collaborating with clients to design, implement, and optimise automation solutions using a range of technologies such as variable speed drives, inverters, multi-axis motion systems, and electronic gearing. You will act as a technical expert, providing troubleshooting, system integration support, and application optimisation to ensure project success and customer satisfaction. The role demands a proactive approach to problem-solving and a thorough understanding of automation components and drive technology.

• Experience in applications engineering within industrial automation, particularly with motion control, servo drives, and electric drives
• Knowledge of Variable Speed Drives (VSD/VFD), inverters, and frequency converters
• Understanding of multi-axis motion systems, position control, and electronic camming
• Familiarity with key brands such as Lenze, SEW, Bosch Rexroth, Beckhoff, Yaskawa, Omron, Mitsubishi, and Schneider
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and system integration of servo systems and motor control applications
• Strong communication skills in English; additional Dutch language skills are advantageous
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a relevant technical field
• Previous experience working with control techniques and drives in industrial environments
