Job summary

Cyklop International is seeking an enthusiastic Application Administrator in Zwolle to improve and optimize business applications. You’ll ensure systems run smoothly and help colleagues work more efficiently, with opportunities for automation and smart integrations.

The role involves managing Salesforce, Jeeves ERP, Power BI, QlikView, and SharePoint, training users, and participating in IT projects. A learning plan will support Jeeves independence, with potential to work from home occasionally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level education or equivalent, such as ICT, Business Information Systems, or a similar field.
• 2 to 4 years of experience in a similar role (Application Administrator / IT Support).
• Experience with Salesforce (admin level) or willingness to learn.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Affinity with process optimization and automation.
• Basic SQL knowledge is a plus.
• Interest in system integrations (APIs) or learning Python scripting.
• Good command of English; Dutch language helpful for internal collaboration; German is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Manage, test, and update business applications.

Cyklop is looking for an enthusiastic Application Administrator who gets energy from improving and optimizing business applications. You make sure our systems run smoothly and help colleagues do their work more easily, efficiently, and with more enjoyment.

Your role as Application Administrator at Cyklop

As an Application Administrator, you’ll be part of the local IT team in Zwolle, working together with two colleagues — our IT team leader Marco and support specialist Jan. Together, you ensure our IT systems remain reliable, up to date, and user-friendly.
You manage and optimize various applications such as Salesforce (CRM), Jeeves (ERP), Power BI, QlikView, and SharePoint. You also support users, solve problems, and actively contribute ideas for improvements. You’ll participate in projects that automate and professionalize processes even further, for example using Power Automate or by creating smart integrations between systems.

What you’ll do

• Manage, test, and update business applications
• Support and train users in daily use
• Work on Salesforce improvements, such as:
  • Building or managing page layouts and flows
  • Object management and configuration
  • Creating reports and dashboards
  • Promoting user adoption
• Contribute to the management and further development of our ERP system, Jeeves
  • No prior experience required — we’ll provide a learning plan so you can manage Jeeves independently in no time
• Participate in daily IT support (together with Jan)
• Document processes, procedures, and work instructions
• Identify improvement and automation opportunities within the organization

What you bring

We’re looking for someone who can bridge the gap between technology and business — analytical, communicative, and solutions-oriented.

• Bachelor-level education or equivalent, such as ICT, Business Information Systems, or a similar field
• 2 to 4 years of experience in a similar role (e.g., Application Administrator, Functional Administrator, or IT Support Specialist)
• Experience with or interest in Salesforce (at least admin level or willing to learn)
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Affinity with process optimization and automation
• Basic SQL knowledge is a plus
• Interest in exploring system integrations (APIs) or learning Python scripting is an advantage
• Good command of English; Dutch is important for internal collaboration, and German is a nice bonus
