Job summary

Lely is looking for an Angular Front-End Developer to help build the user-facing software behind our dairy automation solutions. You will work on Angular applications, collaborating with product owners, designers and engineers to turn concepts into reliable, intuitive software.

You will own front-end topics, contribute to architecture, and ensure code quality through reviews, tests, and integration tests. A degree in CS and 2–5 years of Angular experience are expected, with familiarity with

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a similar technical discipline.
• 2 to 5 years of professional experience in front-end development, including hands-on experience with Angular.
• Strong knowledge of Angular, preferably Angular 17 or newer, with standalone components and modern control flow syntax.
• Experience working with APIs, design systems and CI/CD pipelines, preferably using GitLab.
• Ability to see how your work fits into the wider system and collaborate in Agile/Scrum teams.

As an Angular Front-End Developer, you will help develop and improve the user-facing software behind these solutions. You will work on applications that interact with our automated farming systems and collaborate closely with product owners, designers and engineers from different disciplines. Your contribution helps turn complex technical possibilities into software that is clear, reliable and easy to use.

You will have the autonomy to take ownership of front-end topics and contribute to the technical direction of the products you work on. We value engineers who are curious, willing to share their perspective and enjoy working together to continuously improve both the product and the way we develop it.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Developing and maintaining modern Angular applications, using standalone components, modern control flow syntax and current development practices.

You are a front-end developer who enjoys turning ideas and designs into software that people can rely on. You combine solid technical knowledge with a collaborative mindset and are comfortable taking ownership of your work while learning from the people around you.

In addition, you bring:

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a similar technical discipline.
• 2 to 5 years of professional experience in front-end development, including hands- on experience with Angular.
• Good knowledge of Angular, preferably Angular 17 or newer, including modern standalone components and control flow syntax.
• Experience working with APIs, design systems and CI/CD pipelines, preferably using GitLab.
• The ability to think beyond individual components and understand how your work fits into the wider system.
• A collaborative and constructive approach, with experience working in multidisciplinary Agile/Scrum teams and the confidence to contribute your own ideas.
