Adyen seeks a General Ledger Accountant to join the Group Finance team in Amsterdam. You’ll own the record-to-report cycle for Operational Expenses, acting as the link between business operations and financial data to keep our trial balance rock-solid.

You’ll apply rigorous controls across P2P and R2R, manage intercompany bookings and IFRS 16 lease entries, and proactively detect risks and anomalies to protect data integrity.

Qualificações

• Minimum 3 years in GL accounting within P2P and R2R cycles.
• Strong balance sheet integrity and analytical mindset.
• Collaborates with FinOps, Controllers and Tax to ensure accurate reporting.
• Proactive in automating or improving processes during growth.
• Experience with IFRS 16 lease entries and intercompany work.

Responsabilidades

• R2R Ownership: maintain accuracy of GL bookings for OpEx and ensure a clean Trial Balance.
• Accounting Control: apply controls across P2P and R2R, reconcile prepaid assets.
• High-Value Oversight: act as gatekeeper for high-value transactions and approvals.
• Risk & Anomaly Detection: review the ledger to detect trends and vulnerabilities.
• Asset & Lease Management: manage Fixed Asset Register and IFRS 16 entries.
• Intercompany & Reporting: handle intercompany bookings, month-end analysis, audits.
