Job summary

BBC Studios is seeking a Commercial Partnership Manager in Amsterdam to lead distribution negotiations across Nordic and Benelux markets, covering channels, VOD, streaming and digital opportunities.

You will identify, recruit and manage affiliate partners, structure favorable terms, and collaborate with Marketing, Legal, and Finance to drive revenue and audience growth. The role demands strong communication and a strategic sales mindset.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English and Dutch.
• Strong negotiator with business acumen; able to structure deals balanced on revenue, reach, risk and partner value.
• Creative, solution-oriented deal-maker who turns complex partner needs into robust outcomes.
• Excellent communication to platform partners and internal stakeholders.
• Self-starter with problem-solving, detailed reading and creative thinking.
• Knowledge of TV/video industry trends and evolving platforms.
• Ability to represent BBC persuasively in high-stakes settings.
• Experience in affiliate sales with an established network.
• Ability to interpret financial models, partner proposals and market trends.

Responsibilities

• Structure and negotiate distribution deals across Nordic and Benelux markets, covering linear, VOD, streaming and digital opportunities.
• Identify and secure new affiliate agreements with favorable terms.
• Develop and recruit distribution partners aligned with sales strategy and revenue targets.
• Support partners throughout the sales process with marketing and promotions to hit revenue targets.
• Manage relationships with affiliates across renewals, launches, marketing and issue resolution.
• Build and maintain distributor contacts database.
• Coordinate with Marketing on distributor-focused initiatives and ensure execution.
