Job summary

Federal Express Corporation EU is seeking a Manager Planning and Engineering to lead a high-performing Europe Air Network Planning & Engineering team. You will guide strategic planning, coach professionals, and drive improvements across the air network in alignment with corporate objectives.

You will interact with senior management and stakeholders to deliver value, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with aviation regulations while fostering innovation and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• A degree in Engineering, Business, or related technical discipline.
• Strong command of English, written and spoken.
• 5–10 years in a managerial role within planning and engineering, network domain.
• Proven leadership with planning and organizing abilities.
• Expert knowledge of FedEx standards and external regulations in air network operations.
• Experience managing projects and departmental budgets.
• Ability to ensure compliance and implement process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a high-performing team within Europe Air Network Planning & Engineering.
• Plan resources, align with divisional/corporate objectives, manage risks, and secure stakeholder buy-in.
• Provide expert guidance on air network operations and regulatory compliance.
• Drive process improvements to enhance network efficiency and performance.
• Oversee projects within the air network, delivering on time and budget.
• Develop reports and insights for executive management and cross-regional stakeholders.
• Collaborate with FP&A to ensure reporting and control in line with accounting standards.
