Job summary

C.H. Robinson is seeking an experienced Air Export professional to join the Aalsmeer team and strengthen coverage for growing operations. This role handles end-to-end air export shipments, delivers exceptional customer service, and proactively resolves operational challenges in a fast-paced logistics environment.

You will work on-site five days a week with collaboration across Europe and shared services, driving service excellence and customer satisfaction throughout the shipment lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of air freight forwarding experience focusing on air exports.
• Proven customer service mindset and strong communication skills.
• Fluent verbal and written English communication.
• Proactive approach and ability to work independently.
• Ability to prioritize work and adapt to peak periods.
• Preference for Dutch language skills and related certifications.

• Manage end-to-end air export shipments and related documentation.
• Coordinate bookings, pre-alerts, customs/government filings, delivery, and invoicing.
• Build strong customer relationships and provide proactive communication.

• Support reporting, documentation requests, and customer business reviews.

The successful candidate will manage end-to-end air export shipments, deliver exceptional customer service, and proactively solve operational challenges in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end air export shipments and related documentation.
• Coordinate bookings, pre-alerts, customs/government filings, delivery execution, and invoicing.
• Build strong customer relationships and provide proactive communication throughout the shipment lifecycle.
• Collaborate with colleagues across Europe and shared service teams to ensure service excellence.
• Resolve transportation and documentation issues through critical thinking and customer-focused problem solving.
• Support reporting, documentation requests, and customer business reviews.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years of air freight forwarding experience with a focus on air exports.
• Strong customer service mindset and communication skills.
• Professional verbal and written English skills.
• Proactive approach and ability to work independently.
• Ability to prioritize work and adapt to changing operational demands.
• Willingness to provide flexibility during peak operational periods.

Preferred Qualifications

• Dutch language skills are advantageous but not required .
• IATA Dangerous Goods (DG) certification.
• Security Awareness certification or willingness to obtain it.
• Knowledge of international air freight regulations and documentation.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in logistics .

Compensation Range

€33,200.00 - €52,700.00
