Job summary

C.H. Robinson Worldwide in Aalsmeer seeks an Air Export Agent to join our busy team. You will handle shipments from PO to delivery, work closely with customers on-site, and help resolve documentation and transport issues in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes collaboration with international colleagues, adherence to SOPs, and strong customer service. You will build relationships, provide timely updates, and support reporting and reviews as part of a global logistics platform.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in air freight forwarding.
• Proven experience managing air export shipments.
• Excellent communication, prioritization, and multi-tasking skills.
• Proven track record of strong customer service, interacting with customers and being client focused.
• Bachelor’s degree

Responsibilities

• Understand the processes, documentation, and terminology involved in international shipping from time of purchase order issuance through the delivery of the cargo.
• Coordinate tasks on the shipments to meet all customer SOP requirements: booking approvals, processing pre-alerts, governmental filings, executing delivery, ensuring proper invoicing, etc.
• Collaborate with our international team members and third-party agents to ensure efficiency, excellent customer service and creative problem resolution.
• Build great relationships with customers, responding timely and following up on issue resolution.
• Provide reporting and documentation support to internal and external customers.
• Participate in customer business reviews.
• Apply industry knowledge and critical thinking to adapt processes and to create solutions in response to challenges both internally and externally.
