Job summary

Breda University of Applied Sciences (BUas) is seeking an AI Student Assistant to support the Community of Teaching and Learning (CTL) and AI team. The role is 0.07 FTE, about three hours per week, and runs until 31 July 2027.

You will be the first contact for AI questions within your academy and engage with peers across domains. The position offers a monthly salary range based on full-time equivalents, with a health-insurance top-up, an end-of-year bonus of 8.3% and an 8% holiday allowance,

Qualifications

• BUas student with curiosity about AI tools.
• EU/EEA or Swiss national; can work in NL without work permit.
• Strong communication and informal conversation skills.
• Proactive, reliable, and approachable with peers.
• Excellent Dutch and English speaking and writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for AI questions within your academy.
• Be available in person or via chat and represent student perspective in monthly CTL/AI team meetings.
• Stay informed about new AI developments and Claude updates related to BUas.
• Attend the monthly meeting and engage with CTL/AI team and other student assistants.
• Commit to presence and availability within your academy as core duties.
