Job summary

ASML in the Netherlands seeks a Security Risk Manager for AI & emergent technology. You will lead a team of security specialists, own the AI security risk portfolio, and drive risk assessments, governance, and remediation for high-impact initiatives.

You will partner with IT, Privacy, Legal & Compliance, and Internal Audit, applying NIST/ISO frameworks to raise security risk maturity across the organization.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience leading security risk assessments and risk treatment planning.
• Experience influencing senior stakeholders in a complex international environment.
• Working knowledge of AI system lifecycles and associated risks (confidentiality, integrity, availability).
• Familiarity with regulatory obligations including EU AI Act and NIS2.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Security AI Experts with performance management and succession planning.
• Own the AI security risk portfolio and ensure high-quality risk assessments and remediation activities.
• Establish risk assessment methodologies, standards, and reporting across AI initiatives.
• Lead complex risk assessments with high business impact and regulatory exposure.
• Collaborate with senior management and stakeholders to enable risk-based decision making.
• Drive continuous improvement of AI security risk management practices.
• Ensure governance, portfolio visibility, and escalation of material risks.
