Job summary

NN Group is seeking an AI Security Engineer to strengthen secure AI capabilities within the Cyber Defense Center in the Netherlands. You will combine security engineering, platform integration, and AI expertise to secure AI services across NN platforms and monitor AI services used throughout the organization.

You will design AI security initiatives, collaborate with Detection Engineers, Threat Hunters, and SOC analysts, and build scalable onboarding for AI/data platforms like Databricks.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of relevant experience.
• Professional knowledge of cloud and DevOps tooling.
• Good understanding of AI, LLM, and ML security risks.
• Experience designing AI workflows and connecting them to business processes and third-party systems.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• A responsible approach and the ability to follow through.
• Ability to make decisions within your technical area and flag those with a wider impact.
• Advanced English at C1 level.
• A university degree.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver AI security initiatives across CDC platforms.
• Collaborate with Detection Engineers, Threat Hunters, SOC analysts, and other colleagues.
• Build and maintain security monitoring for AI and data platforms.
• Identify potential AI workloads or infrastructure risks and misuse.
• Onboard AI and data platforms (e.g., Databricks) in scalable ways.
• Set up logging and connect security-relevant data from AI platforms.
• Deliver project work with support from senior engineers and Product Owner.
• Make technical decisions within your area and raise wider impacts.
• Promote engineering best practices and improve workflows.
• Adopt Azure services and emerging AI technologies.
• Document your work and share knowledge with the team.
• Take ownership and collaborate across security and engineering.
