Job summary

NN Group N.V. is seeking a Security Architect with AI focus to shape NN's AI Security Architecture and oversee the cyber defence roadmap. You will collaborate with product management and engineering to translate strategy into secure solutions across cloud platforms and data pipelines.

You will drive multi-year AI security roadmaps, mentor DevOps teams, and ensure regulatory and industry best practices are embedded in the architecture. Strong Dutch/English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science or comparable with focus on AI and Cybersecurity.
• 5 years of working experience in IT architecture.
• Formal methodologies such as SABSA; certifications like CISSP-ISSAP or CCSP preferred.
• Understanding of regulatory, risk and compliance requirements in financial services.
• Ability to define end-to-end security architectures and multi-year AI security roadmaps.
• Experience in cyber defence architecture (monitoring, detection, response, threat intelligence, automation).
• Hands-on experience securing cloud-native and data-driven platforms (Azure/AWS).
• Experience securing AI/ML systems (data pipelines, model training/inference).
• Excellent communication in Dutch and English; able to advise senior stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain NN's Security Architecture and roadmap.
• Drive development of NN's Cyber Defence Architecture.
• Shape and evolve the AI Security Architecture with key architects.
• Advise on AI-related risks, controls, governance, and architecture.
• Represent CISO in governance bodies like Data and AI Architecture Board.
• Define AI security principles, standards, and guidelines.
• Identify and drive AI security capabilities and services for secure AI adoption.
• Support DevOps in designing secure, scalable solutions.
