Job summary

bunq B.V. is seeking a Reporting Expert to transform regulatory reporting into AI-powered processes. You will design decision logic and compliance guardrails ensuring all submissions reach regulators in the correct format and on time.

The role requires translating AML/CFT requirements into scalable rules and collaborating across Compliance, Product, and Engineering to reduce manual work and accelerate market entry. Hybrid work and international exposure are provided.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with AML, CFT, SARs, STRs or regulatory reporting.
• Ability to translate complex regulations into structured rules and decision-making frameworks.
• Analytical, structured, and focused on root causes rather than symptoms.
• Able to work across Compliance, Product, and Engineering teams.
• Must communicate clearly in English.

Responsibilities

• Turn reporting decisions into scalable logic that enables AI-driven automation.
• Design reporting frameworks transferable across countries.
• Translate regulatory requirements into clear, buildable solutions for Product and Engineering.
• Use reporting exceptions to improve automation and reduce manual work.
• Build a repeatable framework to launch reporting operations in new markets.
