Job summary

Podimo is Europe’s leading podcasting platform, looking for an Analytics Engineer to join our BI team. You’ll help build scalable data models, dashboards, and self-service tools that empower product and business decisions and ensure AI-ready analytics.

You will collaborate with data engineers and analysts to deliver reliable data solutions, manage BigQuery costs, and drive data quality through dbt tests and strong semantic definitions.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in BI, data or analytics engineering
• Strong SQL, dbt, BigQuery, and data visualization tools (e.g. Looker)
• Solid data modelling and data warehousing understanding
• Experience writing dbt tests and unit tests, with a strong focus on data quality
• Experience with data models explicitly architected for self-serve and AI access
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

Responsibilities

• Work closely with business teams, data analysts, and AI engineers to understand their needs and translate those into effective data solutions
• Utilize dbt, SQL, BigQuery, and Looker/LookML to transform and model both new and existing data sources
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and self‑service tools that enable business stakeholders to gain insights and make data‑driven decisions
• Drive AI‑assisted workflows within the AE function, including agentic development and LLM context management for the dbt repository
• Build and maintain a robust semantic layer with clear metric definitions and documentation to enable reliable AI‑powered analytics
• Optimize warehouse efficiency by managing BigQuery costs and implementing effective partitioning and incremental processing strategies
• Provide data modeling expertise to additional team and department members through code reviews and pairing to help deliver optimal and scalable designs and queries
• Promote the adoption of AI solutions and interfaces by educating business users and data developers on their usage
