Job summary

PA Consulting is expanding its AI team in Utrecht and seeks AI Engineers who enjoy hands-on work turning ideas into production-ready AI solutions. You'll collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and business leaders to implement AI in real-world settings and advise clients on maturing AI tools.

You’ll work across the AI lifecycle, emphasizing quality, responsible AI, and scalable architectures, delivering value to clients across industries.

Qualifications

• Production experience in AI, data science or software engineering.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or C# for production-grade software.
• Experience with modern software delivery practices, including DevOps and CI/CD.
• Experience building end-to-end AI prototypes with vector databases.
• Proficiency in Python AI/agent-based solutions and LangChain.
• Familiarity with modern AI tools like Copilot or Claude Code.
• Clear communication across disciplines and strong written/verbal English.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and test AI and Generative AI solutions for business needs.
• Experiment with modern AI tech including LLMs, RAG architectures, and agents.
• Integrate AI models with data, APIs, and cloud-native landscapes (Azure, GCP).
• Contribute to AI architecture, QA, evaluation, and responsible AI usage.
• Share knowledge within PA’s active AI community.
• Develop production-grade software using modern engineering practices and agile delivery.
• Build robust data pipelines and data engineering architectures for AI/LLM apps.
