Job summary

NextVentures is expanding its AI team in the Netherlands and is seeking 2 AI Engineers to work on building and maintaining AI agents and tools that accelerate use case enablement. You will engage with the use-case team to understand problems, blockers, and needs, and translate insights into platform improvements.

Preferred candidates have hands-on experience with LLM-powered applications, Python, and cloud platforms (Azure or similar).

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building AI agents or LLM-powered applications (RAG, tool-calling, MCP integrations).
• Proficiency in Python and familiarity with LLM frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex or similar).
• Experience with Azure or other cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Engage directly with use-case teams to understand problems, blockers, and needs.
• Translate insights into concrete platform improvements: better services, templates, tooling, or documentation.
• Build and maintain AI agents and tools that accelerate enablement of use cases.
• Identify recurring pain points and drive structural fixes rather than one-off solutions.
• Sustain and maintain the software underpinning enablement services so the team can scale.
