Job summary

Snowflake Netherlands is seeking a Senior Solution Engineer to partner with account teams and channel partners to understand customer needs and translate them into Snowflake-based data solutions in a fast-moving SaaS environment. You will present Snowflake’s technology to executives and technical contributors, run demos and proofs of concept, and develop technical champions to drive deals.

Qualifications

Solution engineering/solution architect experience in a SaaS environment or relevant industry (analytics, data science, data engineering).
Outstanding presentation skills to technical and executive audiences, in demos or on whiteboards.
Understanding of data architecture, data analytics and cloud technology.
Hands-on experience with SQL.
Ability to solve customer business problems with Snowflake solutions.
Customer-facing communication to diverse audiences (written and verbal).
Fluency in Dutch (native or professional).
Preferred: experience with Python and modern data tech (dbt, Spark, containers, DevOps tools).
Experience with AI, data science and ML technologies.

Responsibilities

Present Snowflake’s technology and vision to executives and technical contributors at prospects and customers.
Demonstrate and communicate Snowflake value through the sales cycle from demo to PoC to design and implementation.
Develop technical champions in accounts to drive deals and achieve technical wins.
Stay at the cutting edge of Snowflake technology and present roadmap features to customers/prospects.
Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering and Marketing to improve Snowflake’s products and messaging.
