Job summary

Mbianchi is seeking engineers to own the development of agentic systems that automate real workflows. You will build agents using APIs, MCP servers, and governed data sources, with a focus on safety, observability, and measurable value.

You will work with Python or TypeScript, integrate production APIs, and evaluate model quality, latency, and costs while ensuring proper data handling and human oversight where needed.

Qualifications

• Strong Python or TypeScript software engineering.
• Hands-on work with production APIs and data systems.
• Experience with LLM APIs, agent SDKs, and tool calling.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end automation of workflows with probabilistic components.
• Build agents/assistants using APIs, MCP servers and governance data sources.
• Create evaluation datasets, quality gates, tracing and observability for AI systems.
• Design permission boundaries, data protection and human approval for actions.
• Collaborate with users and domain experts to ship, measure, and improve workflows.
