Job summary

Monks is seeking an AI Artist to blend artistic vision with advanced AI to craft film and photography content for top-tier clients. You will lead AI workstreams, generate unique visual assets, and refine production workflows across advertising projects.

You will collaborate with directors and animators, craft and test prompts, and iteratively refine lighting, composition, and styling for high-quality outputs. A strong portfolio and mastery of AI tools are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a digital production environment with a strong foundation in film, photography, or digital design.
• A compelling portfolio showcasing a blend of traditional visual creativity, technical skills, and AI-integrated film/photography work.
• Deep proficiency in AI tools: Figma Weave and Runway, plus working knowledge of image models (Midjourney, Stable Diffusion, Magnific/Krea).
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite for film/photography integration (Photoshop, Premiere, After Effects).
• Ability to quickly understand new tech concepts and apply critical thinking across AI platforms.
• Extremely organized, detail-oriented, and capable of self-managing in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Generate high-quality visual content (moving images and photography) using advanced AI tools.
• Collaborate with directors, designers, and animators to develop concepts aligned with brand vision.
• Craft and iterate prompts and workflows to achieve precise lighting, composition, and styling.
• Integrate AI-generated assets into traditional design, animation, and post-production workflows.
• Assist in presenting concepts and final works to clients, incorporating feedback.
• Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging AI technologies to inform creative strategy.
• Optimize production workflows by testing new AI tools and methods.
