Job summary

Monks seeks an experienced Senior Motion Artist / Editor to join a regional creative team producing rapid-turn editorial and marketing content. You will transform existing footage and assets into polished video deliverables, shaping edits, animating graphics, and aligning visuals with audio.

Collaboration with a distributed global team is essential. The role emphasizes brand-consistent motion, fast turnarounds, and an interest in AI-driven production approaches.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in motion design, video editing or post-production within an agency, technology company or in-house creative organization.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro.
• Working proficiency in Figma, including navigating files, reviewing components and exporting production-ready assets.
• Strong motion-graphics, animation and editorial storytelling skills.

Responsibilities

• Edit existing footage and approved content into clear, engaging video deliverables.
• Create motion graphics, animated typography, transitions and supporting visual elements.
• Apply established brand guidelines, motion principles and design systems across all work.
• Use existing content thoughtfully to make technical and editorial stories more dynamic and accessible.
• Time edits and animation precisely to voiceover, music and other audio elements.
