Epic Owner – Leading Change | South Netherlands | Hybrid |

We’re supporting a leading Dutch financial services organization in their search for an Epic Owner to join their Shared Services Leading Change team.

In this pivotal role, you’ll guide large-scale transformation initiatives across business and IT, working closely with stakeholders at every level — from Business and Value Stream Managers to Product Owners and Agile/DevOps teams. You’ll operate within a SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) environment, helping to shape and deliver strategic epics that drive real business value.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead and facilitate epics from definition to delivery, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Work with stakeholders to define business impact, costs, and benefits.
• Support prioritization of epic-related features and manage dependencies.
• Ensure smooth implementation and handover into the organization.
• Report on progress and communicate outcomes effectively across teams.

Your background:

• HBO/WO working and thinking level.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience as an Epic Owner or Project Lead in complex, multidisciplinary environments.
• Strong understanding of Agile, DevOps, and SAFe methodologies.
• Proven ability to manage senior stakeholders and maintain structure under pressure.
• Broad IT experience; program management experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of the pensions sector is advantageous.
