Job summary

Fokker Services Group is seeking a Team Lead Electrical & Avionics Engineering in the Netherlands. You will oversee and mentor a 30-person team, ensure adherence to engineering guidelines, and coordinate with Lead Engineers, Project Managers and Program Managers to optimize delivery.

The role includes 50% operational engineering work as a Design, Service, or Systems Engineer, with strong emphasis on people management and process improvements within the Completion & Engineering Services

Qualifications

• HBO work and thinking level in aerospace and/or electrical engineering or equivalent.
• Knowledge of aviation regulations and certification processes.
• Experience with engineering workflows and processes.
• Strong affinity for people management.
• Proficiency in Dutch and English (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Oversee team workflow and operations in Electrical & Avionics Engineering.
• Coach and mentor team members; conduct Performance Development meetings.
• Advise Head of Engineering on employment conditions and absenteeism.
• Manage capacity planning, workload distribution, and resource allocation.
• Escalate critical issues with proposed solutions to Head of Engineering.
• Collaborate with Lead Engineers, Project Managers and Program Managers.
