Job summary

Fokker Services Group in Woensdrecht is seeking a Technical Team Leader for the Sheetmetal & Composites Shop. You will oversee operations, optimize production planning and drive improvements on safety, quality and efficiency.

You will report to the Head of Production and collaborate with Customer Support, PPC, Supply Chain and Engineering, shaping the department's strategic direction and continuous improvement while maintaining a hands-on leadership presence on the shop floor.

Qualifications

HBO level of working and thinking with ~2 years of relevant work experience.
Proven experience in managing operations, quality, and safety.
Excellent communication in Dutch and English.
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt is an advantage.
IPMA-D certification or equivalent project management experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of around 14 technicians and support staff, fostering safety, quality and collaboration.
Ensure timely and high-quality repairs of sheetmetal and composite structures per OEM and regulatory standards.
Collaborate with planning to meet customer deadlines and optimise workflow.
Safeguard airworthiness compliance and implement robust quality controls.
Apply Lean principles to reduce waste and increase productivity.
Enforce safety protocols and create a safe working environment.
Encourage skills development and continuous learning within the team.
