Job summary

Destinus in Born, the Netherlands, is seeking a Production Planner to keep our aerospace manufacturing moving with precision, balancing materials, schedules and priorities to deliver high-quality products on time.

You will develop and optimize production plans, coordinate with Procurement, Logistics and Production teams, monitor inventory, and drive improvements to reduce waste and boost efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or related field.
At least 5 years in production planning, manufacturing planning, supply chain, or production control.
Strong understanding of production planning, inventory management, and MRP.
Experience with ERP or MRP systems for scheduling and inventory.
Strong analytical skills and ability to prioritise multiple activities.
Proficiency in Excel and production planning tools.
Excellent communication and collaboration across departments.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Fluent English; additional languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and optimize production schedules to ensure efficient workflow and on time delivery.
Coordinate the flow of work orders, materials, and production priorities across manufacturing operations.
Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, components, and finished goods to balance availability and stock optimization.
Work with Procurement to ensure materials are available when needed and support MRP.
Plan and coordinate allocation of equipment, materials, and production capacity.
Collaborate with Production teams to monitor progress and meet targets.
Identify bottlenecks, shortages, and constraints, implementing solutions to minimize disruptions.
Partner with Logistics to ensure timely delivery to customers.
Prepare and maintain accurate production records, schedules, inventory data, and performance reports.
Analyze production performance and propose process improvements to raise productivity and reduce waste.
