Michael Page is recruiting an Accounts Payable Officer for an international scale-up based in Amsterdam. The role focuses on day-to-day AP tasks while contributing to process improvements in a growing finance team.

You will work with stakeholders across the business, manage supplier invoices, payments, and reconciliations, and help build scalable financial processes in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

Formación

• 4+ years in Accounts Payable
• Experience in an international environment
• Hands-on NetSuite experience is mandatory
• Strong Excel skills
• Available to start in the short term
• Available full-time (40 hours per week)

Responsabilidades

• Process and verify supplier invoices accurately
• Prepare and execute payment runs
• Reconcile supplier accounts and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain vendor master data and data accuracy
• Support month-end closing activities
• Collaborate with colleagues across departments and locations

Job Description

As an Accounts Payable Officer, you will play a key role within a growing international finance team. In addition to managing day-to-day Accounts Payable activities, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development and optimisation of finance processes as the organisation continues to evolve.

This position offers a unique combination of operational responsibility and the opportunity to help build structure within a developing finance function. You will work closely with stakeholders across the business and be encouraged to bring ideas, challenge existing processes, and identify opportunities for improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and verify supplier invoices accurately and efficiently
• Prepare and execute payment runs
• Reconcile supplier accounts and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain vendor master data and ensure data accuracy
• Support month-end closing activities
• Manage supplier queries and build strong stakeholder relationships
• Collaborate with colleagues across different departments and international locations
• Identify opportunities to improve and streamline Accounts Payable processes
• Support the ongoing development and professionalisation of the finance function
• Contribute ideas and best practices to help build scalable and efficient financial processes

The Successful Applicant

Ideal candidate:

• Minimum 4 years of Accounts Payable experience
• Experience working in an international environment
• Hands-on and detail-oriented
• Able to work independently and take ownership
• Strong communication skills
• Fluent in English
