Job summary

Werfen is seeking an Accountant (m/f/d) for the Benelux Organization located in Breda, The Netherlands. In this role you will support the financial operations and ensure accurate accounting processes, maintaining the general ledger and assisting with audits.

You will coordinate with the Shared Service Center for AP and AR, contribute to internal and external reporting, and act as a back-up to the Accounting Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, or accounting.
• 4+ years of accounting experience in similar companies.
• Strong knowledge of accounting concepts for the Netherlands and Belgium.
• Familiarity with SAP.
• Fluent in English and Dutch; French a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the general ledger and support monthly close.
• Support accounts payable and AR processes with the Shared Service Center.
• Assist with audit preparation and external reporting.
• Collaborate with the Finance Manager and department managers.
