Job summary

Karl Lagerfeld in Amsterdam is seeking an enthusiastic Accessories Design intern to support the development of handbags, small leather goods and soft accessories. You will join the design team for a 6+ month full-time internship starting end of October / early November, with an internship agreement required.

You must be enrolled at your university or design school for the full duration, bring a portfolio of accessory designs, and have strong Photoshop and Illustrator skills in English.

Qualifications

• Studying Accessories design (not only RTW)
• Currently enrolled in a university or design school (or able to provide an internship agreement)
• Strong skills in Photoshop and Illustrator
• Language: Fluent in English both verbally and written

Responsibilities

• Trends, materials and color research
• Preparing overviews and presentations
• Working on tech packs and prototype corrections
• Providing design proposals
• Generally supporting the design team and helping to keep the office organized at all times
