Negotiate and manage purchase orders for mechanical, electrical, and electronic commodities, as well as items fabricated per engineering specifications.
Manage the New Product Introduction (NPI) process for your categories to ensure product availability and first-time right quality to achieve successful machine launches.
Handle PO and payment processing, ensuring purchase orders are issued with correct shipping/delivery terms and pricing.
Monitor and analyze supplier On-Time Delivery (OTD), maintaining constant communication to improve delivery performance.
Manage the supply, storage, transport, and distribution of equipment, materials, and goods used and produced by the company.
Maintain and update records of purchased products, delivery information, and invoices; update supplier information regularly.
Conduct supplier risk assessments to minimize supply continuity risks and implement corrective actions as needed.
Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure sufficient stock and minimize waste.
Coordinate communication between QA, engineering, and suppliers.
Collaborate with other departments to forecast demand, plan inventory levels, and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
Develop an understanding of production and manufacturing processes.
Work with overseas suppliers, including those in China.
Job Requirements & Responsibilities:
- Minimum Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, or related discipline.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Required languages: English and Mandarin (for communication with Mandarin-speaking suppliers).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in procurement or purchasing.
- Experience in vendor management and supplier relationship management.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent negotiation skills and vendor relationship management.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work well in a team environment.
Planner Responsibilities:
- Manage material supply planning and perform production scheduling and work order releases to optimize machine utilization.
- Monitor work orders and WIP aging, driving for completion and closure of work orders and FG GRN in the system.
- Coordinate daily operations with customer service, purchasing, warehouse, and production to meet customer orders and ensure on-time delivery.
- Work with Purchasing and Inbound Logistics to track incoming raw materials, adjusting production schedules as needed.
- Check material availability, coordinate with purchasing on incoming materials, and expedite shortages or establish contingency plans.
- Track raw material inventories and oversee finished goods inventories, assisting warehouse space planning.
- Ensure availability of finished goods and raw materials to support customer delivery.
- Manage subcontracted finished goods delivery and material planning.
- Prepare weekly and monthly material supply reports and perform supply planning.
- Generate end-of-month reports comparing budgeted, forecasted, and actual sales.
Additional Job Requirements:

- At least 3 years of experience in production scheduling and material planning.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Outlook, and ERP systems, especially in MRP and production order management.

- High adaptability to fast-changing environments.
