A leading company in building SaaS solutions for sustainability seeks an Engineering Manager for their new office in Kuala Lumpur. The role involves leading a dynamic team, ensuring optimal processes, and developing scalable solutions. Ideal candidates are passionate tech leaders with experience in driving talent development and managing complex, multi-year projects.
Formación
- 5+ years in a leadership role required.
- Experience with motivating and guiding engineers.
- Familiar with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Build, mentor, and grow a team of 6-8 engineers.
- Define architecture for new projects and ensure systems scalability.
- Ensure code quality and advocate for Clean Code practices.

Work in an Agile/Scrum environment; plan and execute within iterations and sprints.
Ensure code quality and advocate for Clean Code, Code metrics, Test Driven / Behavior-Driven Development.
Collaborate with EU team & cross-functional agile teams.
Work with Product Management to understand customer needs & desired application capabilities.
Manage upwards, qualify timelines, and challenge project urgency.
5+ years in a leadership role.
Motivating, hiring, growing, and guiding engineers.
Experience with Cloud: Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
Hybrid: 3 days a week in the office - Central KL.
Tech leads or Engineering managers passionate about developing talent.
Experience working on end-to-end multi-year projects from architectural design to support.
