The Opportunity

As a Project Manager / PMO within EY’s Digital Engineering team, you will be responsible for driving the successful execution of software engineering projects that support clients' digital transformation goals. You will oversee project planning, delivery, governance, and coordination across cross‑functional software engineering teams. Your role will be crucial in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end project delivery for software engineering initiatives, from initiation through deployment
• Work closely with engineering leads, product owners, and stakeholders to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables
• Establish governance, reporting, and risk management practices for ongoing software development projects
• Ensure alignment with agile practices by facilitating sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
• Monitor progress against project milestones and budgets, ensuring transparent communication with stakeholders
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams (frontend, backend, QA, DevOps) to ensure smooth collaboration and execution
• Drive continuous improvement of delivery processes, including automation, documentation, and quality assurance
• Support resource planning, capacity tracking, and talent utilization across the engineering delivery portfolio

Technology Environment (You’ll work alongside engineering teams using)

Frontend: React, Angular, Next.js, TypeScript

DevSecOps & Tools: Jira, Confluence, Git, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Selenium, Playwright, JMeter

To Qualify, You Must Have

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in project or delivery management, ideally in a software engineering or technology consulting environment
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile delivery methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
• Proven track record of managing software engineering or digital platform projects across cloud‑native or enterprise environments
• Familiarity with software engineering concepts and technical workflows
• Excellent stakeholder management, team coordination, and communication skills
• PMP, PRINCE2, or Scrum Master certification is a plus
