Job summary

Nestlé Regional Service Centre in Malaysia is seeking a Zone Engineering Hub Digital & Automation Expert to lead the rollout of standardized control system solutions across factories and markets. You will provide hands-on support for implementation, commissioning, troubleshooting and lifecycle management, and help shape automation roadmaps.

The role requires a strong background in automation, instrumentation and Allen-Bradley PLCs with AVEVA Wonderware SCADA, plus a willingness to travel to

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Automation, Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in industrial automation and control systems.
• Strong expertise in instrumentation, Allen-Bradley PLCs and AVEVA Wonderware SCADA.
• Practical experience in control-system implementation, commissioning and troubleshooting.
• Experience supporting CAPEX projects and working with system integrators.
• Strong consulting, training, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel to factory locations.

Responsibilities

• Lead rollout of standardized PLC and SCADA solutions and provide hands-on implementation, commissioning and troubleshooting support to factories and system integrators.
• Ensure compliance with engineering, automation and OT cybersecurity standards; support lifecycle management and modernization of existing control systems.
• Develop and maintain reusable PLC/SCADA packages, control modules, visualization standards, interfaces and technical documentation based on functional requirements.
• Incorporate implementation feedback and lessons learned into standard automation packages.
• Support development, implementation and follow-up of factory digital and automation roadmaps.
• Provide automation expertise across the CAPEX lifecycle; review requirements, control philosophies, architectures, specifications and supplier deliverables.
• Support FAT, SAT, commissioning and performance verification for Industrial Services control systems.
• Develop and deliver training, workshops and implementation guidance in instrumentation, automation, commissioning and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge sharing: promote standard solutions across factories and markets.
• Factory consulting: provide practical consulting, communication and problem-solving support at factory locations as required.

Position Summary

We are looking for a Zone Engineering Hub Digital & Automation Expert to lead the rollout and implementation support of standardized Industrial Services control system solutions across factories and markets. Provide hands-on support for implementation, commissioning, troubleshooting and lifecycle management; support automation roadmaps and CAPEX execution; build local competencies; and develop reusable PLC and SCADA packages for refrigeration, steam, compressed air, water and wastewater applications based on requirements from REC Industrial Services Experts.

A day in the life of a Zone Engineering Hub Digital & Automation Expert

• Solution Rollout: Lead rollout of standardized PLC and SCADA solutions for Industrial Services; provide hands-on implementation, commissioning and troubleshooting support to factories and system integrators.
• Standards & Lifecycle: Ensure compliance with engineering, automation and OT cybersecurity standards; support lifecycle management and modernization of existing control systems.

What will make you successful
